Parsons captures global missile defense work

Parsons has captured a $9.8 million Missile Defense Agency contract to support systems and facilities deployed globally.

Parsons Corp. has won a $9.8 million Missile Defense Agency contract for a variety of technical and advisory services.

The contract falls under the acronym TEAMS for Technical, Engineering, Advisory and Management Support. Parsons will be providing its services around facilities life cycle management.

This will include facility and infrastructure planning and programming, real property asset management, strategic planning, acquisition and financial management. The contract involves deployments of global ballistic missile defense system.

Work will be performed in Washington, D.C. area, Huntsville, Ala., Dahlgren, Va., Fort Drum, N.Y., Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., Fort Greely, Alaska, Pacific Missile Range Facility, Hawaii, Clear Air Force Station, Alaska, Romania, Poland, Japan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The contract was competitively awarded but the Defense Department did not release the number of bidders.
