Northrop Grumman has won a $91.6 million contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to help prevent Medicare fraud.
The contract is part of the Fraud Prevention Program 2.0. The Fraud Prevention System is the primary tool for identifying potential fraud, waste and abuse at CMS' Center for Program Integrity with a focus on predictive analytics, Northrop Grumman said in a release.
Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide technical and business expertise to identify and prevent fraud, waste and abuse of the Medicare trust fund.
