Jacobs Technology wins $427M contract to assist Navy combat training

Jacobs Technology has won a $427 million contract to provide test and evaluation and other services to the Navy.

Under the contract, Jacobs will provide test and evaluation, training threat and target systems and debriefing systems.

The effort will include systems engineering services to deliver components used in simulated combat environments, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., and is expected to be completed in May 2021.

Jacobs was the only bidder, the Defense Department said.
