Harris wins $41M in orders to modernize SATCOM terminals

Harris Corp. has won $41 million in orders by the Army to support its Modernization of Enterprise Terminals program.

Harris Corp. has won $41 million in orders by the Army to support its Modernization of Enterprise Terminals program.

The orders call for production, spare parts, depot, and installation of advanced satellite communications terminals, which provide access to the new Wideband Global SATCOM network as well as legacy satellite constellations.

The orders were placed under a contract Harris won in 2009 with a $800 million ceiling, of which Harris has been awarded $516 million.
