Harris wins $405M contract to support Army comms

Harris Corp. has won a $405 million single award contract to provide communications equipment to the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command.

Harris Corp. has won a $405 million single award contract to provide communications equipment to the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command.

Under the follow-on contract, Harris will provide a range of tactical communications equipment including radio systems, individual radios, spares, training, installation and field support.

The contract was awarded under the foreign military sales program, Harris said in a release. The company didn't disclose what countries the equipment was being sold to.
