March’s 57 awards is a steep increase over last month’s 40; however, March 2016’s 57 awards didn’t quite reach March 2015’s 58 awards.

To make the list in March, you had to have a contract with a value greater than $179.9 million, making March’s value threshold to make the list the largest of the year so far; February’s threshold was $46.7 million and January’s was $99 million.

March was a great month for CACI International, who scooped up two spots by itself and one by way of a subsidiary.

CACI – Athena Inc. has won a $179.9 million contract to support the U.S. Special Operations Command.

9. CACI International wins $180M contract for geospatial analytic support

CACI International has won a $180 million contract to provide Joint Geospatial Analytic Support Services to the U.S Special Operations Command.

8. General Dynamics U.K. to upgrade tactical comms systems for British military

General Dynamics United Kingdom has won a £135 million ($192.8 million) contract from the U.K. Ministry of Defence to provide enhanced Bowman tactical communications systems to the British Armed Forces.

7. Lockheed gets $197.6M contract mod for Aegis support

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $197.6 million contract modification to support the Navy’s Aegis defense system.

6. CACI wins $199M O&M task order to support Agriculture Department

CACI International has won a $199 million task order to provide operations and maintenance in support of the Agriculture Department’s Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) system.

5. RAND Corp. awarded $231.3M contract for advisory, assistance services

RAND Corp. has been awarded a $231.3 million sole source contract to provide the Air Force with advisory and assistance services.

Systems Made Simple, a Lockheed Martin subsidiary, has won a $262 million task order to help streamline the processing of veterans disability claims for the Veterans Affairs Department.
