Raytheon BBN Technologies wins $8M contract to support NSF online research lab

Raytheon BBN Technologies has won an $8 million contract to continue supporting the National Science Foundation’s Global Environment for Network Innovations (GENI).

GENI, an online lab for networking and distributed systems research, supports a community of scientists from around the world and is working to meet the performance, security, and agility demands of new and emerging technologies online, Raytheon said in a release.

Raytheon has operated the GENI Project Office since 2007.
