Veris Group hires new EVP of BD

Veris Group has appointed Maureen Kaplan executive vice president of business development, effective March 21.

In her new role, Kaplan will assume leadership of all company-wide business development and responsibility for developing successful sales, marketing and capture teams, the company said in a release.

Kaplan joins the company from Verizon Enterprise Solutions where she was most recently managing director of Global Security Services and sales director of the Global Healthcare Division.

Before Verizon, Kaplan worked at Perimeter eSecurity.
