CACI makes U.K. cyber deal
CACI International is still digesting its $550 million L-3 purchase, but that hasn't stopped its U.K. subsidiary from making a deal to bolster its cyber capabilities.
While CACI International may be digesting its largest acquisition ever – the $550 million purchase of L-3 national security business – its U.K. subsidiary has shown the copy is always on the look out for another deal.
CACI Ltd. has acquired Purple Secure Systems, another U.K. business that is focused on providing IT services to the British national security, defense and civilian agencies.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Purple Secure provides systems and software engineering skills and will help CACI Ltd. build its defense and cyber business in the U.K., the company said.
“We are delighted that being part of CACI will accelerate the implementation of the next phase of our strategic vision by enabling us to deliver larger and more diverse projects and programmes,” said Purple Secure CEO David Harris.
The acquisition will bolster CACI’s work in areas such as systems integration, software applications and consultancy services including data integration, web reporting, mobility, telecom support systems, online transactional solutions and case management systems.
“Purple Secure Systems has strong capability in delivering systems and software engineering skills for some of the most challenging Government and Defence projects,” said CACI Ltd. CEO Greg Bradford.
CACI Ltd. has about 850 employees in the U.K. and Europe.
