Industry Day update: GSA speakers confirmed

Find opportunities — and win them.

We've confirmed three high-level speakers for our next industry day focused on GSA. The speakers are GSA leaders in charge of the schedule program, GWACs and cloud computing initiatives.

Our half-day event will focus on the Office of Integrated Technology Services, known as ITS. The office managements some of the most important contracts in the market including Schedule 70, the Alliant contracts and the upcoming Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract.

We’ve confirmed three high level speakers for our Feb. 10 Industry Day featuring the General Services Administration.

We’ve now confirmed the following three speakers:

  • Kay Ely, director of the Office IT Schedule Programs. Her portfolio of IT programs includes Schedule 70, the largest schedule at GSA with $15 billion in annual spending.
  • Chris Fornecker, director of the Center for Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts. His office oversees a variety of GWACs including Alliant, VETS and 8(a) STARS.
  • Stan Kaczmarczyk, director of the Cloud Computing Services Program Management Office, which like the name indicates is helping agencies take advantage of cloud computing technologies to moderenize and expand IT capabilities.

We are working on finalizing other government speakers, but this is a great start.

These speakers will be offering valuable insights into how agencies are using these vehicles, what GSA is developing to make acquisitions more efficient and the role contractors can play.

GSA is often at the leading edge of government procurement, so you won’t want to miss the opportunity to hear these folks and to network with your colleagues, customers and partners.

Look for more updates as we continue to flesh out the program.
