Booz Allen won the five-year, $17 million task order with the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery via a competition under the SeaPort-e contract. The task order was awarded Nov. 10.
The bureau, which goes by the acronym BUMED, is the headquarters command for Navy medicine and develops policy and direction related to health care for the Navy, Marine Corps and civilian personnel.
Planned Systems filed its protest on Dec. 8 with the Government Accountability Office. A decision is expected by March 17.
