Contractors under DHS’ TABSS contract are meeting with OASIS contractors to share insights. The idea is to help OASIS contractors when DHS makes the transition to OASIS when TABSS expires in two years.
However, DHS chief procurement officer Soraya Correa at an industry day acknowledged that there is a double-edged sword at hand, as DHS-specific experience but it could potentially be “limiting,” FCW quoted her as saying, and can sometimes mean DHS is “not exploring what’s new."
