Serco names ex-TASC CEO to board

Serco has named Wood Parker to the board of directors of the company’s U.S. business.

In his new role, Parker will work to help the company grow Serco’s key markets, including defense, citizen services and transportation, the company said in a release.

Parker once served as the president and chief executive officer of TASC Inc. from 2006 to 2011. He also served as the president of the Federal Enterprise Solutions unit at Northrop Grumman.

Parker has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service.
