CACI fights for $90M Army security contract

CACI has filed a protest over a contract it lost to provide a range of security services at U.S. facilities in South Korea.
CACI International has filed a bid protest over a contract it lost to provide a range of security services at U.S. facilities in South Korea.
The Army contract was won by PAE Professional Services Inc. CACI’s Integrated Security Solutions group was the part of CACI that pursued the contract.
The company filed the protest on Sept. 10, and a decision from the Government Accountability Office is expected by Dec. 21.
The contract is worth $90 million over three years, according to solicitation documents.
Work to be done includes program management, physical security and monitoring services around construction activities. The contractor is expected to build a security infrastructure including screening equipment, fencing and gates, intrusion detection systems, badging, material screening and surveillance systems.
According to Deltek, the contract represents new work so there is no incumbent.
