SRI International wins $8.5M R&D contract

SRI International has won an $8.5 million contract with the Navy to provide research and development services to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

SRI International has won an $8.5 million contract with the Navy to provide research and development services to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Under the contract, SRI will provide support including innovative   research proposals in the areas of data privacy and privacy science to provide tools to capture, test and evaluate technologies, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Menlo Park, Calif., and is expected to be completed Feb. 16, 2020.

Eighty-nine companies bid for this contract, the Defense Department said.
