IT jobs continue to rise slowly in June

Information technology jobs have continued the trend of tepid growth from last month, according to a report from TechServe Alliance.

For the month of June, the uptick in IT-related jobs was 0.3 percent, with the number of jobs reaching 4.9 million. Last month, jobs also grew by 0.3 percent from the previous month.

Engineering job growth also continued in June, but only barely, growing by 0.1 percent. This growth was at the same rate as the growth in May.
