CGI continues support of Army ERP system

After besting three competitors, CGI Federal will continue to support an Army materiel management system under a $9.2 million contract.
CGI Federal won a $9.2 million Army contract to continue working on a materiel management system.
Known as the Integrated Materiel Management Operation System, CGI picked up the work when it acquired Stanley Inc. several years ago.
The company was given an extension of the work last fall and again in the spring so work could continue while the Army competed the work.
CGI won the contract in a competition with three other companies. The next contract extends the work through July 2020.
The contract covers work at several locations including Virginia, South Carolina, California, Qatar, Kuwait, Germany, Italy, Japan and Afghanistan.
The contract supports the pre-positioning of stock and supplies and work includes building and maintaining a database of all supplies, visibility into containers, vehicles, trailers and multipacks on a real-time basis.
CGI is ranked No. 29 on the 2015 Washington Technology Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
