Abt Associates taps three new VPs

Abt Associates has named three new vice presidents in a move to improve the quality of its offerings.

Mauricio Poodta has been named vice president of the company’s Information Technology department. Poodta also serves as deputy chief information officer, leading all major IT initiatives.

Thierry van Bastelaer has been appointed vice president of the company’s International Health division. van Bastelaer is also an Abt senior fellow, the company said.

Melinda Williams has been named vice president of Corporate communications where she will lead the company’s communications strategy going forward.
