Military Health System looking to consolidate, modernize data systems

The Military Health System is looking to improve the way it collects and analyzes information, according to Federal Times.

The agency wants to consolidate the different data systems among its many hospitals and modernize its data analytics systems.

The Military Health System also wants to stray away from duplicating data collection, estimating that up to 70 percent of data across its 10 largest sources of data is duplicated, taking up available storage space, Federal Times reported.
