Textron to support Shadow UAV under $51.8M contract
Textron Systems has won a $51.8 million contract to support the Army’s Shadow unmanned aerial vehicle fleet.
Textron Systems has won a $51.8 million contract to support the Army’s Shadow unmanned aerial vehicle fleet.
The Shadow UAV is used to locate and identify targets within range of a brigade tactical operations center, the Army said on its website.
Under the contract, Textron Systems will provide performance-based logistics and operational support for the Shadow UAV.
Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Md., Afghanistan and Iraq and is expected to wrap up in October 2015.
