DLA releases draft work statement for 8-year JETS IDIQ

The Defense Logistics Agency released a draft statement of work for a wide-ranging services contract called J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS) contract.

DLA will use the eight-year JETS indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to buy a full range of IT services and tap technical and management expertise to support applications, software, hardware, infrastructure, and systems, across the DLA IT Enterprise.

DLA broke down JETS into 21 task areas, which include services offerings related to network and telecommunication, technology, stakeholder integrated services, and Defense Business System life-cycle management. DLA would also place task orders against the IDIQ for support with IT evaluations, financial budgets and costs, configuration management, and systems engineering. In addition, JETS would provide virtual workforce training, information assurance in various areas, IT management, and audit-readiness support.

JETS would support a long list of current agency systems, such as the Electronic Mall, or EMALL, Employee Activity Guide for Labor Entry (EAGLE), Mapping Enterprise Business, Defense Travel System, and Acquisition Streamlining and Standardization Information System (ASSIST).

DLA released its draft statement of work March 9. Responses are due March 17.
