Weapons programs and weapons manufacturers need to boost their cybersecurity, the Pentagon’s top buyer told the Reuters news agency.

Speaking after a speech at the American Society of Naval Engineers, Frank Kendall said he planned to added cybersecurity to the next phase of the Better Buying Power initiave.

A special section on cybersecurity will be added to the Pentagon guidance document.
