TSA officials are asking industry to provide information on solutions that would offer real-time data analytics and advanced search capabilities. Their overall intent is to study solutions that uncover insights from data to support risk awareness.
TSA wants to know about solutions that can correlate multiple data sources in real time to detect threats, and can visualize potential threats, trends, and patterns via a common operating picture or dashboard. The agency is asking about real-time alert notifications based on customizable rules and logic, as well as enterprise search capabilities with structured and unstructured data. TSA released the source sought notice Feb. 19. Responses are due by 26.
