SAIC has won a $167 million contract to provide planning and warfare support analysis to the Navy’s Office of the Chief of Naval Operations.
The Office of the Chief of Naval Operations is responsible to the secretary of the Navy for the command and utilization of resources and operating efficiency of the operating forces of the Navy and of Navy shore activities assigned by the secretary.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide a methodology and supporting review process that helps the Navy define its warfighting capability and capacity requirements for warfighter preparedness, the company said in a release.
