Army plans for $195M IDIQ for capabilities, expertise support
The U.S. Army released a draft solicitation this week for a five-year, $195 million indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to support its efforts for capabilities and requirements development.
The U.S. Army released a draft solicitation Feb. 3 for a five-year, $195 million task order contract to support its efforts for capabilities and requirements development.
The Army needs technical support for the Capabilities Development And Integration Directorate (CDID) in a variety of areas, such as concept development, experimentation, doctrine analysis, and modeling and simulation.
The contractor must provide expertise for reviewing systems and intelligence functionality, support for capability integration and system migrations. It must support the integration of those functions and systems. Task orders would also extend into technical writing to update doctrine manuals.
In addition, the contractor would work with surge and short-fuse requirements, as well as provide technical support for a range of intelligence, such as human intelligence, measurement and signature intelligence, and signal intelligence. Task orders could also include related data collection.
Furthermore, the contractor would help in research and development for a various needs of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System, Battle Lab Collaboration Simulation Environment, and Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) domains.
The Army released a draft request for proposals Feb. 3. It included no deadline for responses.
