ManTech taps new SVP, general manager of Army business unit
ManTech International has named Andrew Twomey senior vice president and general manager of the company’s Mission Solutions & Services group’s Army business unit.
ManTech International has named Andrew Twomey senior vice president and general manager of the company’s Mission Solutions & Services group’s Army business unit.
In his new role, Twomey will lead the execution of business strategy to expand and enhance capability offerings, with a focus on complex IT networks and systems, efficient and secure logistics and procurement solutions, and related training services, ManTech said in a release.
He was most recently chief operating officer at Phycal Inc. He also formerly worked as president of Global Security and Engineering Solutions at L-3 Communications. Before joining industry, Twomey served in the Army, retiring as a brigadier general.
Twomey holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from West Point, a master's degree in political science from the University of Chicago, and a master's degree in security studies from the National Defense University.
