Kratos wins $72.3M contract to provide Air Force with technical support

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has won a $72.3 million contract to support a test and training branch of the Air Force.

Under the contract, Kratos will provide technical support and target drones to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Armament Directorate, Test and Training Division, Aerial Targets Branch.

The company will be working with CEI, Micro Systems Inc. and Herley Industries to carry out the work under the contract, Kratos said in a release:

Sacramento, Calif.-based CEI will provide high performance aerial target drones and technical support.

Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.-based Micro Systems Inc. will supply most of the high performance avionics utilized on the target drone to include critical command and control and flight computer systems.

Lancaster, Penn.-based Herley Industries, Inc. will provide additional key avionic systems.
