Boeing wins $67.8M contract to upgrade P-8A Poseidon aircraft
Boeing has won a $67.8 million contract to upgrade the Navy’s P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
Boeing has won a $67.8 million contract to upgrade the Navy’s P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
Under the contract, Boeing will integrate capabilities and training system upgrades.
These upgrades will include high-altitude anti-submarine warfare weapon capability, high altitude anti-submarine warfare sensor capability, and Link-16 network enabled weapon capability, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash., St. Louis, Mo., and Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed by December 2017.
