Navy considers C4I support IDIQ

The Navy is considering a two-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for engineering and technical support services on command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems on surface ships.

Work will include equipment operation assessments, shipboard alteration, extended shipyard repair and modifications, integrated logistics support, program planning, and training support.

More specifically, the Navy needs equipment and system expertise to aid in troubleshooting, repair, assessment analysis, inspection, root cause localization, identification, maintenance training, logistics configuration support, alteration development and installation, and long-term problem resolution.

The work would support C4I, surface ship anti-submarine warfare, surface ship undersea warfare, surface ship mine warfare systems, and combat systems engineering analytical support services to the Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center.

The Navy released its presolicitation notice Oct. 23. Officials gave no deadline for response.
