BMC names new VP public sector sales

Brian Marvin has been promoted to vice president of sales for public sector sales for BMC Software.

Marvin has been with BMC for seven years and started his career as a regional sales manager with the federal sales group.

From 2009 to 2011, he was country manager in Spain, Portugal and France. Most recently, he ran the worldwide channel sales organization.

Marvin will report to the vice president of worldwide sales.
