L-3 group lands $31.2 intell contract
L-3 Communications unit will outfit three Cessnas with intelligence and surveillance equipment under a $31.2 million Air Force contract.
Communications Systems West, an L-3 Communications company, will outfit three aircraft with a variety of intelligence equipment under a $31.2 million Air Force contract.
The company will produce, modify and integrate intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities onto three Cessna 208B aircraft. The contract includes spares and training.
Work will take place at Salt Lake City, Utah, and Titusville, Fla.
The award includes foreign military sales to Niger, Kenya and Mauritania.
