Former defense industry vet Walt Havenstein will represent the Republican Party in the upcoming New Hampshire governor election after recently capturing the GOP nomination.
Former defense industry vet Walt Havenstein will represent the Republican Party in the upcoming New Hampshire governor election, according to WashingtonExec.
Havenstein, who led BAE Systems as president and CEO from 2007 to 2009 and then SAIC until 2011, defeated Andrew Hemingway and other Republicans for the nomination to face current Democratic governor Maggie Hassan, WashingtonExec reported.
In addition to leading SAIC and BAE Systems, Havenstein has started three tech companies over the course of his career.
