Citizant wins $8.4M contract to support intelligent transportation

Citizant has won an $8.4 million contract to support the Transportation Department’s Intelligent Transportation System Joint Program Office by providing program integration and management services.

Citizant has won an $8.4 million contract to support the Transportation Department’s Intelligent Transportation System Joint Program Office, which supports the advancement of smart vehicles and advanced infrastructure technologies.

Under the contract, Citizant will provide program integration and management services.

“Citizant has supported the ITS-JPO with policy analysis, management systems, and technical and executive support for more than a decade. This new opportunity will enable our experts to play an even greater role in monitoring, coordinating, and accelerating the efforts of the many independent research organizations funded by the USDOT,” said Citizant CEO Alba Alemán.

To help complete the work, Citizant is teaming with engineering firm PBS Engineering & Associates P.C. and value-added reseller AIS.
