Technatomy gets $3.3M contract extension for EHR work

Technatomy Corp. wins a $3.3 million extension to provide program management support to the Defense Health Agency.

The Defense Health Agency announced Aug. 5 it had extended a program management contract with Technatomy Corp. The extension runs through mid-October.

The extension added $3.3 million to Technatomy contract, increasing the total value to $8.2 million.

Techantomy of Fairfax, Va., has been the lead contractor working on the Defense Healthcare Management System, alongside the program executive office, to buy and configure a scalable modernization of the electronic health record system.

The extension gives the DHA time to go through the acquisition phases for a follow-on contract. The agency is expected to award the follow-on contract before Oct. 15.
