Raydon Corp. wins orders worth $99.4M to provide training simulation systems to Army

Raydon Corp. has won two orders with the General Services Administration totaling $99.4 million to provide the Army National Guard with training suites.

Under the contract, Raydon will produce and offer commercial-off-the-shelf, high-fidelity virtual reality training suites, the company said in a release.

“[The commercial-off-the-shelf] approach benefits the soldiers by getting relevant, current and cost-effective training solutions to [the Army National Guard] in a significantly reduced timeframe,” said Mike Vollmar, Raydon CEO.

Founded in 1988, Raydon Corp. is a small business that focuses on simulation training products and solutions. The company holds GSA’s MOBIS – Schedule 874 contract vehicle.
