Northrop Grumman taps new business unit VP

Northrop Grumman has named Michael Meaney vice president of advanced land and self-protection systems, where he will be responsible for the sector’s portfolio, focusing on developing innovative next-generation technologies for airborne, ground and rotary wing mission electronics.

Meaney has been with the company since 1994, most recently serving as director of ground-based tactical radar where he was responsible for the overall performance and growth of the division’s ground-based tactical radar business unit.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from Niagara University.
