Blackberry taps new head of U.S. public sector

Blackberry has named Jeffrey Ait vice president and head of the company’s U.S. public sector, where he will be responsible for sales strategy and execution for both federal and local government business.

Ait joins Blackberry from Good Technology, where he served as director for the company’s public sector business. Before Good Technology, Ait held senior positions at Symantec, Secure Elements and Alterpoint.

He brings over 30 years of sales and executive management experience to his new position at Blackberry.
