Leidos, Booz fight against L-3 intelligence award

Leidos and Booz Allen Hamilton have filed protests over a task order award to L-3 Communications under the $5.6 billion Solutions for Intelligence Analysis II. Are more protests on the way?
Leidos and Booz Allen Hamilton are fighting back against a task order award to L-3 Communication under a multi-billion dollar contract they and 11 other companies won earlier this year.
Known as the Solutions for Intelligence Analysis II, the contract has a $5.6 billion ceiling. This is a Defense Intelligence Agency contract but can be used across the defense intelligence community, including all four services and the combatant commands.
This protest involves an award L-3 won that Leidos and Booz Allen object to and they have filed with the Government Accountability Office. That’s about all I know. The companies so far have not responded to requests for comment. (I’ll update if they do).
With so many other potential competitors on this contract, there is potential for more protests to be filed if others feel aggrieved by the award to L-3. We’ll track that too.
The services under the contract are steeped in the post 9/11 world. Some examples of services and support required: maintaining global situational awareness and support the National Intelligence Priorities Framework and Strategic Planning guidance.
Requirements include national-level intelligence analysis, general military intelligence, intelligence planning, management and implementation, support for deployed forces, rapid response and intelligence analysis training.
