Engility exec joins new firm as CEO
Paul Strasser, most recently a senior executive with Engility - thanks to its acquisition of DRC - has been named CEO of Project Performance Company.
Paul Strasser, a former executive with Dynamics Research Corp., has been named CEO of Project Performance Company LLC.
Strasser became senior vice president and general manager at Engility after the company acquired DRC earlier this year.
PPC is part of the FedCap Partners portfolio and was created by the merger of Project Performance Corp. and GAITS, another FedCap company. Strasser is replacing Harry Thornsvard, who is retiring after leading the company for three years.
Strasser, who I’ve known for several years, has extensive experience in IT, operations and business development.
He spent four years at DRC and before that was chief operating officer at Pragmatics for six years.
He’s also very active in industry and community groups such as AFCEA and IAC, where he was the industry chair for the Executive Leadership Council in 2013.
“We are saddened by Harry’s decision to retire,” said Rick Knop, managing member of FedCap Partners. “We wish him all the best.”
In a statement, Knop said Strasser’s background and reputation showed FedCap’s commitment to building the company into a leading technology and management consulting firm.
"We are fortunate to have Paul Strasser take over the reins from Harry," Knop said.
PPC has government and commercial customers for its services around knowledge management, energy management and environmental sustainability, enterprise systems development and operations, and cyber and information assurance.
