Quantum Research International taps new director of cybersecurity BD

Quantum Research International has named Tim Bloechl director of cybersecurity business development, where he will expand the company’s core cybersecurity and IT business areas.

Prior to joining Quantum Research International, Bloechl worked with cybersecurity startups, namely Secure Channels Inc. and Blackhawk Management Corp. He also served as Microsoft’s first global bsiness leader for the public safety and national security markets.

Before Microsoft, Bloechl was a director of international cybersecurity at the Pentagon.

He served 20 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
