Lockheed wins $452M contract to support reentry vehicles

Lockheed Martin has won a $452 million contract with the Air Force to support space reentry vehicles and their systems and subsystems.

Under the contract, Lockheed will provide sustainment engineering, maintenance engineering, aging surveillance, modification of systems and equipment, software maintenance, developmental engineering and production engineering, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed at King of Prussia, Penn., and Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and is expected to be completed by June 4, 2022.
