CACI nabs $26.6M SeaPort-e task order to support explosive ordnance disposal

CACI International has won a $26.6 million contract to provide engineering and technical related services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center.

CACI’s work will support the Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, which provides research, development, engineering, manufacturing, testing, evaluation, and in-service support for energetics, ordnance, and explosive ordnance disposal solutions for the Navy and joint forces, CACI said in a release.

Under the contract, the company will support weapon systems engineering, technology and logistics as well as provide technology systems engineering analysis and basic engineering studies of weapon systems and performance, the company said.

The contract was awarded under the Navy’s SeaPort-e contract vehicle. CACI won a spot on SeaPort-e in 2004.

CACI is ranked No. 13 on the 2014 Washington Technology Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
