Small business wins $85M Navy Common Processing System contract
Global Technical Systems Inc. has won an $84.9 million Navy contract for the production and support of open architecture computer systems.

The Virginia Beach, Va.-based small business is being tasked with production of the Common Processing System (CPS), along with spares and associated engineering services.
CPS supports the computer requirements of Navy combat systems, and Global Technical Systems will test both water- and air-cooled versions of the open architecture processing system.
Funds in the amount of $1.6 million were obligated at the time of the award, and work is scheduled to end May 2018.
