PAE joint venture wins $544M U.K. contract

PAE’s U.K. joint venture has landed a $544 million contract to manage several military training ranges in Great Britain.

PAE and U.K.-based Interserve formed Landmarc Support Services over 10 years ago, and it will manage the National Training Estate. The joint venture was the incumbent on the contract.

The new five-year contract includes options for another five years. The new contract also includes support for 30 additional sites including the specialist electronic warfare range at the Royal Air Force Base Spadeadam, the air weapons ranges and training facilities at Bovington and Lulworth as well as facilities at Ballykinler and Magilligan in Northern Ireland.

“For over a decade, the Landmarc joint venture has supported the Defence Infrastructure Organization with management and support services that are critical to maintaining the operational tempo of the UK training estate,” said PAE CEO John Heller.

The joint venture became part of PAE after the company acquired the Applied Technologies business from Computer Sciences Corp. last year.

The services Landmarc provides range from lodging and catering to operations and maintenance.
