NASA is looking for small businesses that could provide IT security and support services to several of its locations.

NASA is looking for small businesses that could provide IT security and support services to several of its locations.

Companies would support the objective of the NASA CIO and Johnson Space Center’s CIO to provide IT security support to JSC, Sonny Carter Training Facility at Ellington Field in Houston, and White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces, N.M.

The security services would include IT policy and risk management, as well as management of related to identity, authorization, configuration and accountability.

Other IT support services would include security compliance, incident remediation, developing security plans, and system management and administration. The services would be for host and storage systems, output devices, mobile devices, workstations, and network components.

In the sources-sought notice, NASA wants to know if there are small businesses, including companies designated as disadvantaged, veteran- or woman-owned, 8(a), or in historically underutilized business zones that are capable of providing these services.

The notice was released May 14. Responses are due May 28.
