TASC taps Mark Forman as VP, IT services, cloud initiatives

TASC has named Mark A. Forman vice president for IT services and cloud initiatives, where he will help shape the company’s solutions in cyber, cloud and mobile computing and data analytics.

"[Forman’s] leadership will help TASC expand the offerings we provide to civil-agency customers, especially in cloud computing and for complex IT systems,” said Bruce Phillips, senior vice president of TASC’s Cyber, SIGINT, Infrastructure and Security Sector.

Forman has held a number of positions across both industry and government. He worked at the Office of e-Government and IT as administrator, a position that is recognized as being the first federal chief information officer, TASC said.

He has also held positions at KPMG, Unisys and IBM. Forman also worked at TASC from 1985 to 1989.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
