BAE bags $6.7M digital interrogator contract
BAE Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration Inc. has won a $6.7 million contract to provide 16 digital interrogators to the U.S. Navy and Japan.
BAE Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration Inc. has won a $6.7 million contract to provide 16 digital interrogators to the U.S. Navy and Japan.
The contract entails providing AN/UPX-41 (C) Digital Interrogators, hardware used for a variety of applications including identifying friend from foe, air traffic control operations and air defense, as well as Mode 5 Identification Friend or Foe field change kits.
The contract combines a $5.4 million Navy purchase – including 14 digital interrogators and 33 field change kits – with a $1.3 million purchase by the government of Japan.
Work is expected to be completed in December 2015.
