Alion Science and Technology has won a $17.7 million task order to provide the Defense Department with engineering, science and technology expertise to help defeat IED threats.
Alion Science and Technology has won a $17.7 million task order to provide the Defense Department with engineering, science and technology expertise to help defeat IED threats.
“The services we will provide under the task order will enable the DoD to detect and neutralize explosive hazards wherever our forces are deployed,” said Terri Spoonhour, Alion senior vice president and general manager of the distributed simulation group.
Services will include support of conception, prototyping, improving and experimenting with technologies, devices and systems, bringing next-generation capabilities to counter IED hazards, Alion said in a release.
