The Veterans Affairs Department is looking for companies that can enhance its virtual campus software infrastructure and also provide cloud hosting services.
The work would support the VA IT Virtual Campus. The campus offers VA Office of Information Technology employees access to knowledge and resources necessary to remain a competitive well-trained workforce. The virtual campus also saves the VA money, time and expenses associated with travel.
The VA wants to find contractors to update technical documentation, conduct testing, and provide training to VA staff. The companies would offer technical and maintenance support of an existing main production green screen studio with control room and five portable production green screen studios’ hardware and software. They would also give training instruction, meetings and conferences within the VA IT Virtual Campus and production support of the studios and control room.
The request for information was released Feb. 28 to find companies that could meet the VA’s requirements for support and services.
The deadline for response is March 7.
