Three companies to compete for anti-terrorism, surveillance systems

Three companies will compete to provide the Navy, Defense Department and other agencies with anti-terrorism/force protection Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems.

The winners are:

• Serco Inc. – $77.6 million (base value: $46 million)
• Honeywell – $71.7 million (base value: $43.2 million)
• CACI Inc. – $71 million (base value: $42.4 million)

Under the contracts, the companies will provide lifecycle sustainment, integration, acquisition and technical support for anti-terrorism/force protection Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems to the Defense Department and its agencies.

Work will be performed at both contractor and government facilities, and is expected to be completed by March 28, 2014, or by March 27, 2017 with options.

Three bids were received for this contract.
